Kilgetty, Begelly Community Council

Welcome to Kilgetty and Begelly, jointly served by one Community Council. The villages are well situated, just off the A477 and are within easy reach of the coastal towns of Tenby and Saundersfoot and the Pembrokeshire National Park. A little further afield are Pembroke, Haverfordwest and Carmarthen. Spectacular views and beautiful natural beaches can be found by walking the easily accessed Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.
Kilgetty has a railway station, a National Express stop and local buses.
The villages have a good range of shops, including a supermarket, garages, public houses, caravan sites, sports and social clubs. St. Mary's Church, Begelly, dating from the 13th Century, perched on the hill overlooking Kilgetty, is a little gem.

The Community Centre is well used by clubs and societies, Citizens Advice Bureau and Tourist Information Centre.

The Community Council meets monthly on the second Thursday and the Community Association meets on the last Monday every month at 7.30pm. Clerk to the Council,  Miss Louise Curran, 07919 837745
