The  Community Association was formed to promote local events and issues in Kilgetty and Begelly. Made up of local residents, the Committee meets on the last Thursday in every month, and welcomes visitors. The present Secretary is Judi Ball, who can be contacted on 01834 814715.

The main Committee is divided into smaller groups for individual projects, and includes the Environmental Group which holds regular litter picks throughout the village, nurtures and plants the flowerbeds in the village, and runs Kilgetty in Bloom Competition for local gardeners every summer. The Social Group organises events such as the highly popular Bulldog Run, the annual Carnival (in conjunction with the Kingsmoor Sports Club), and at Christmas, the Mince Pies and Music afternoon for older residents.

The Committee are also deeply involved in the planned Eco Leisure Facility - the new Community and Sports Centre to be built on land recently purchased by the Community Council for that purpose. The current Centre has two halls and further Meeting Rooms which can be hired very reasonably for parties, meetings and other social events. Phone 01834 813331 for bookings.
