27 Jul 2008 - Fun Day and Bulldog Run

The Kilgetty Begelly Fun Day was held on a beautiful sunny day, to the relief of the organizers, after last year's rain.  The Bulldog Classic Car run began at 1pm from the R.A.O.B. car park and processed through Kilgetty and on to the sports field.  There were stalls, a children's ride and bouncy castle and tea tent set up on the field.  The village Princess was crowned by Councillor David Pugh and then followed a fancy dress, a karate demonstration, Irish dancers, line dancing, children's races and a tug o war.  An enjoyable afternoon was had by all who attended in the sunshine and a disco followed in the evening.
