25 Jul 2008 - K.I.B. Strawberry Tea

There were 52 people present at the Strawberry Tea Presentation of Awards at the Community Centre .  The hall had been decorated with flower arrangements and the pictures drawn by Stepaside school children.  The array of trophies and shields made a good display on the stage.  Judy Ball welcomed everyone and read out the prizewinners and David Pugh, our local councillor, presented the prizes.  This was followed by everyone being invited to walk over to the new Community Garden where David Pugh cut the ribbon across the gate.  The garden will be open every day until 6pm and all will be welcome to enjoy it.  Please keep dogs on leads .
