The three judges, Mr Hilling and Mr and Mrs Brinsden, accompanied by a member of the Environmental Group, had a a dry and pleasant day to view the twenty-seven entries to Kilgetty in Bloom.  Begelly Park Garden tearooms kindly provided an enjoyable lunch before they carried on to the final gardens.  They then spent some time sorting out the points for all the sixteen classes in the competition.  Stepaside School also into the competition by drawing some artistic pictures of flowers and the trophies for these were presented at school.  the pictures will decorate the walls at the Community Centre presentation and also the tea tent at the Fun Day.  The Gary Waters memorial trophy was shared by Dewi and Tristan Thomas, for environmental and gardening at school.

All entrants to the competition are invited to a Strawberry Tea at the Presentation of Awards at the Community Centre on Friday 25th July at 5pm.
