20 Jun 2008 - Pig Roast
St. Mary's Church, Begelly, hosted their annual Pig Roast evening at Folly Farm on Friday evening. A
good crowd of people turned up, buying their raffle tickets as they arrived, of course, and enjoying some time chatting to friends. The Church supplied the salad and the deserts and Folly Farm kindly supplied trays of chips to go with the pork rolls.
There was entertainment from Gill and Arthur Ray and their drummer friend, and another friend sang Elvis songs, which proved very popular. Unfortunately the usual comical songs from Brian were missing, due to him being unable to attend due to ill health. Dancers soon appeared on the 'dance floor', although a few combined this with watching the football on the large TV. screen!
